@SexyYfronts Have you read the Ozzy Osbourne article? Because it says John Lennon was his biggest influence.

SexyYfronts August 8, 2010 at 12:18 am

@SexyYfronts sorry, but your 19, what the fuck do you know, i’ve lived through it, my parents where into it when it back in the day, i grew up around it when it was happening. Classic Rock was influenced by the Blues, Metal was influenced by Classic Rock, the reason Ozzy wanted to become a singer was because of The Beatles, don’t believe everything you read on Wikipedia teeny bopper

RedKnightTheGreat August 8, 2010 at 1:10 am

@SexyYfronts Jimi Hendrix?? BB King? Metal was influenced by blues?

Metal came from England with Black Sabbath

SexyYfronts August 8, 2010 at 1:26 am

@RedKnightTheGreat Rock did not start in America it came out of England you cock smoking douchebag

@Kubolski Yeah, the best part, very nice funky riffing.

Kubolski August 8, 2010 at 2:36 am

4:24 – I LOVE that part :)

RedKnightTheGreat August 8, 2010 at 2:51 am

@MegaAries1992 Don’t forget Deep Purple. Given that rock started in America, it’s ironic that Blue Cheer, Zeppelin, Deep Purple and mostly Sabbath influenced so many different bands.

JohnnyFuzz13 August 8, 2010 at 2:54 am

Mairipairi August 8, 2010 at 7:54 am

Very nice riff! Also not that hard to play along with :) Black Sabbath! :)

MegaAries1992 August 8, 2010 at 8:25 am

Blue Cheer, Sabbath, and Zeppelin set the standard all bands should follow

Much better than fucking Nickelback and Kings Of Leon where they’re like “Oh, I can play 1 chord the whole song, I rock!”

EvelynDungeon August 8, 2010 at 8:56 am

@Vittumikajatka Well, it´s just the sound. Led Zeppelin roll over fast rock´n roll, Sabbath just hammered w/ the slow and raw guitars, Both bands are awesome. Still got to say Sabbath is Sabbath, soooo HEAVY.

Vittumikajatka August 8, 2010 at 9:10 am

@happywarmgun13 100% true.

scumgrizzly August 8, 2010 at 9:50 am

@Vittumikajatka No, they didn’t play bluesy guitar driven hard rock. they played pop love songs with a guitar virtuoso. Sure they rocked out on the few songs that get radio play, but the vast, and I do mean VAST majority of led zepplin was not remotely “hard rock” even for that day.

happywarmgun13 August 8, 2010 at 10:30 am

@killtrosity Well you better start listening to Blue Cheer cause they’re heavier than Zeppelin and their first album came out almost a year and a half before Zeppelins did. Listen to Doctor Please by Blue Cheer and tell me that’s not metal. Despite what I just said I agree there’s no need to label everything differently.
