@blacksabbath4lyfe I was just watching Biography about 15 minutes ago and they said Bill Ward was the one chosen to tell Ozzy he was out of the band for overuse of alchohol and drugs. I’ll admit no one can replace him. I saw them during the Black and Blue tour with Blue Oyster Cult. Dio sang. It was good, but it was like seeing Alice Cooper without the original band. Which I did during his Welcome to My Nightmare tour. Just wasn’t the same.

Ozzy’s voice is amazing !
The Reunion double cd released in 1998 featuring this original lineup is not only a great Black Sabbath live album, I would rate it in the top 15 live rock albums of all time. Ozzy doesn’t miss a note and is entertaining as Hell between songs. The band as a whole sounds like they never were apart.
