The Tri tone in this song really have a good effect. If your not troubled by the evil sounding interval though.

@BRYANJONATHAN13 It’s not that simple mate. Obviously a little disheartened by current metal. There are good bands out there so I suppose thats why you said most. Like gold when you find one you enjoy so much…

Uriah Heep were a bunch of fags…

BRYANJONATHAN13 July 19, 2010 at 1:37 am

metal was a new level of rock n roll blues,,,plus to scare religious people for its evil style,,,,but now most of it has no purpose

gomes1258 July 19, 2010 at 1:42 am

Sabbath forged the metal, Priest sharpened the steel

MrAltmann July 19, 2010 at 2:53 am

StevieDope July 19, 2010 at 3:24 am

hmmrsmshdfc July 19, 2010 at 3:43 am

@BrimstoneLandscapes Ha, I know. But i’m just saying. Autopsy has a lot of riffs that were probably inspired through early stuff like this.

BrimstoneLandscapes July 19, 2010 at 3:58 am

@hmmrsmshdfc Lawl, Sabbath came out way before Autopsy.

mikexlong July 19, 2010 at 4:13 am

True metal starts here. End of story.

Eldryzif July 19, 2010 at 4:23 am

No, this is live performance in John Peel’s ‘Sunday Show’ (BBC Radio 1, Sunday 26th April).

Pilarius July 19, 2010 at 5:05 am

This is demo?

Pasta711 July 19, 2010 at 5:39 am

@ollyortiz Its not really an “official” thing. But still, alot of people consider this to be the song that really defined the heavy metal sound.

dewey791 July 19, 2010 at 6:19 am

many other bands contributed to the start of metal…
blue cheer, lucifers friend, budgie, captain beyond are a few prime examples.
