Shadowghast

Product Description
A Supernatural Thriller / Halloween Horror - Available in two different size paperback editions, each with unique cover art done by the author. Prepare yourself to enter the world of one that was left cursed and damned, a ghastly apparition shrouded in mist and bound, not to a single home, but to a single town. Risen from the rancid earth of a lonely grave, it's tortured soul unleashes its terrible vengeance as it searches for the one that could set it free. Then its black heart might beat once more, in the flesh of warm rebirth. There are some that wish the prophecy to happen, those within the circle; the Flames of Denoth. These are the Witches of Willowdale, the fallen angels that strive for the Promise through the Book of Shadows. "We worship only nature," they solemnly answer when questioned and "Blessed Be," they calmly utter when you turn your back to leave. But there is so much more that remains unseen by those who choose not to see, and behind the wall of sleep the Shadow Children cry out for release as they gather around the feet of the unholy abomination, compelled to do its evil bidding. The Red Crescent Moon shall be the mark, and the day shall be when All Hallows Eve descends like a devastating omen of death upon the sacred Black Sabbath. Only then can the curse of the father be lifted as a new age, one of darkness, is set to begin . . . This is my first novel, self-published at this time.

I loved this book. I actually had to quit reading it after dark. It drew me in right away with the prologue which is full of dark emotion. Witches, ghosts, demons and a maniac murderer driven insane seem to reach out from the pages as the story continues. This was really creepy! but still I couldn’t walk away from it. So many twists and turns. The spells in this story are like none others I have ever seen, they had me believing, which says alot in this day and age. I would have given this five stars but I noticed some mistakes in the text every once in awhile, small ones that the story itself more than makes up for. The decription here on amazon states that this is the author’s first novel, self published, but don’t let that distract you. This is a very good first novel by anyone and this man is gifted in this area of fiction. Hopefully they make this into a movie someday. I would be first in line!

This is a very good story. I read it in 4 days…. It’s one you don’t want to put down. I am a Stephen King fan and if you like him you will love this book. It’s a thriller with supernatural elements.

If you want to be intertained get this book. You won’t be disappointed.

This is an amazingly dark novel that leaves nothing sacred. The author of Shadowghast writes in a style that makes the 500 plus pages a very easy read. I normally only read fantasy fiction, but this book had such an intense story and plot that it was truly hard to put down. The author has an amazing ability to put just the right details into certain parts of the book that you can almost see the scene playing in your mind like it were a movie, though I finished reading the book over a year ago there is a large portion of the book I will never forget for this very reason. The original book (the one released in the beginning of 2009) did have many spelling and grammatical errors, but I have heard that the author has edited and rereleased the book twice since then. I can honestly say that when I bought the book I started reading it as a favor, but I finished it a fan.

This is book one of a trilogy not yet complete. I sincerely look forward to owning the entire set!

I am not quite done with the editing process yet. I really only put the tale out at this time for some family and friends. I wanted to do a couple of limited editions along the path for the special few. The story is complete, however there are many very small things that I am taking care of at this time, before I will feel that it is ready to break free. I will update this posting when I have finished taming this 210,000 word beast. Please keep this in mind before buying at this time… BLM

This gothic tale of bizarre happenings is superbly crafted with an intense plot that starts out strong and just continues to build as it moves along, coming to a devastating climax on All Hallows Eve. Finally a great Halloween story for us adults! Ghosts and witches along with demons and spells that seem all too real. This would make a great movie that I would watch every year!
